B. General information

This privacy policy explains what personal data may be processed when visitors use Beautiful City Trips.

The current version of the website is a static travel-guide website. It does not intentionally use user accounts, comment functions, contact forms, embedded maps, embedded videos, or advertising pixels.

C. Website hosting and server log files

Beautiful City Trips is hosted by Hostinger International Limited, 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

The website is currently hosted on a server located in Frankfurt, Germany. Hosting backups are stored in France.

When visitors access the website, the hosting infrastructure may automatically process technical server log information. This may include:

• HTTP status code
• amount of data transferred

This processing serves the purposes of delivering the website, maintaining technical stability and security, detecting misuse, and troubleshooting.

Beautiful City Trips may receive a commission when a visitor completes a booking or purchase through an affiliate link. The visitor does not normally pay an additional fee because of that referral.

This website does not control the data processing performed on the external provider's website.

E. External links

Links to Google Maps, markets, attractions, hotels, tour providers, and other external websites are ordinary outbound links. Data is generally transferred to the external provider only after the visitor actively clicks the link.

F. Cookies and local storage

Google Analytics 4

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits to our travel guides and how visitors use booking links. The Google tag is not loaded and analytics events or cookies are not activated before you accept analytics.

Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use it to understand page visits and usage, scrolling and engagement, which destinations and content are useful, and interactions with outbound and affiliate booking links on this website. These on-site analytics events do not follow visitors after they leave Beautiful City Trips.

After consent, Google may process page URLs or paths, page titles, referrers, browser and device information, approximate geographic information, timestamps, interaction and event information, and IP-address-related technical information handled by Google. Beautiful City Trips does not claim to receive visitors' full raw IP addresses.

Consent-based measurement may include page views, affiliate-link views and clicks, planning-section views, and scroll milestones. Depending on the event, details may include the destination, country, section, card or button text, booking provider, page path, traffic source, and whether a link opens a new tab.

The legal basis for Google Analytics is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable to storage or access on your device, consent under the applicable German telecommunications and data-protection rules. We do not rely on legitimate interests for GA4.

You can accept or reject analytics in the consent banner. Refusing analytics does not prevent you from using this website. Your choice is stored locally in your browser under bct_analytics_consent so the banner does not appear on every page. Use the Cookie settings control in the footer to change or withdraw your choice later; withdrawal applies to future processing. If you reject analytics, no new analytics events are sent.

After analytics consent, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies such as _ga and measurement-specific _ga_* cookies. The locally stored bct_analytics_consent preference records your consent choice; it is not an advertising cookie. We do not enable Google advertising signals or personalized ads through this tag.

Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, potentially including the United States, and states that it uses applicable legal safeguards for international transfers.
